There is a positive correlation between martial arts and improved learning, martial arts and improved self-confidence, and self-confidence and improved learning. Children who get involved in martial arts reap many benefits in several areas of life. Students in our school are taught Yoga in every week. It helps the children to stay healthy. Yoga helps children to see the beauty and light within themselves, thereby boosting their self-confidence, allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies, and helping them get in touch with who they are inside. A child who learns yoga, mindfulness and relaxation will be developing essential skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind, body and spirit.

Yoga practice contributes to the overall development of the child and various studies have shown that it contributes to flexibility and muscular fitness and also corrects postural defects among school children. Yoga has been an integral part of Health and Physical Education. It helps the student to plan next class and contribution to the health and overall development of the child. It also improves memory, focus and concentration. It can be extremely helpful in helping kids reduce levels of negative thinking, negative effect, revenge motivation, depression, emotional arousal, physical arousal, rumination, perceived-stress, attitudes toward violence; and it’s been associated with greater levels of self-control, tolerance for distress, and school engagement
